I’m the kind of person who is a little bit good at a lot of things.

I’m known to be a little restless, and I’m happiest when I’m being creative, so I’ve run in a lot of different directions in my life. I’ve been a college counselor, a waitress, a carpenter, a paint-and-sip instructor, a slam poet, a dating show host, a theater director… I even once had a job custom-printing sweatshirts for girls’ basketball tournaments with slogans like “I Shoot Hoops for the Lord.”

I tend to be the friend that people call on when they either need: 1) something very niche and specific, or 2) someone who is down to try something new! Working with a friend who you know will put their heart into something can be so much more fun and less intimidating (not to mention cheaper) than tracking down a professional or watching YouTube tutorials and trying to do it yourself.

And now you’ve got me!

Best job/gig I’ve ever had

Managing art programming at a contemporary art musuem and getting to work with some seriously amazing young people

Weirdest job/gig I’ve ever had

I was an extra in an unaired Katie Holmes FBI drama pilot where I had to tackle a Senator; I did Props Design for a play where I had to figure out a way to make it rain poop from the ceiling every night; I taught Paint and Sip classes for a studio that painted live, nude models instead of landscapes
